Every year, CASTRO hosts a selection of side projects organized by artists, curators and other professionals working in the field of contemporary art.
These projects propose events of various nature conceived specifically for CASTRO, are open to the public and can take place as single events or have a regular schedule during the year.
During 2018/2019 CASTRO will host the following projects:
LIVING ROOMS: THE ALL NIGHT MOVIE SERIES
curated by Rosanna McLaughlin and Marco Palmieri
November 2018 – June 2019
Living Rooms is an ongoing curatorial project initiated by Rosanna McLaughlin and Marco Palmieri. Taking the form of chapters, the project will consist of exhibitions, publications and other events, exploring the scene setting qualities of artworks and their relationship to interior spaces over a variety of platforms.
For The All Night Movie Series a roster of national and international artists will be invited to present a particular movie or video piece, accompanied by a poster or publication made specifically for the event.

Within the umbrella of CASTRO Projects, Cerruti Quara will conceive and host a salotto, reasoning on identity, shape-shifting and metamorphosis, interspecies evolution, ecology, activism and survival, staying with the trouble, states of stasis, smoke and mirrors.
