In line with CASTRO&#8217;s educational mission, Modus Operandi attempts to look at the Roman local territory, tracing historical places and key contributions (1960 -1980), to open a critical perspective on the current scene<\/span>\u00a0and collectively reflect about possible models and tools for contemporary artistic production.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Saturday 19th January, 2 &#8211; 5 pm<br \/>Part II: <em>Tools for contemporaneity<\/em><br \/>Taking the form of a roundtable the second session suggests a collective analysis and comparison of places, tools and initiatives able to create a cultural exchange between local and international scene, reflecting on the various models used.<\/p><\/div><p>Invited speakers: Maria Alicata, Adrienne Drake, Ilaria Gianni (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aarome.org\/event\/magic-lantern-film-festival-phantasmagoria\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Magic Lantern<\/a>); Marco Palmieri, Ilaria Leoni (\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ermes-ermes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ermes-Ermes<\/a>); Luca Lo Pinto, Valerio Mannucci (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.neroeditions.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NERO Magazine<\/a>)<\/p><div class=\"section\"><p><strong>Periferico<\/strong>\u00a0is an independent research platform proposing new tools and methods to observe and analyse the impact of economics, geography and networks on artistic production, distribution and display.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.periferico.club\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.periferico.club<\/a><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Attilia Fattori Franchini<\/strong>\u00a0is an independent curator and writer based between London and Milan.\u00a0She is co-founder of the non-profit platform\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bubblebyte.org\/\">bubblebyte.org<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.otdac.org\/\">Opening Times<\/a>\u00a0and contributes essays and reviews to international publications such as Mousse, CURA., Flash Art International\u00a0and other magazines.\u00a0She is the curator of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/frieze.com\/article\/world-premiere-bmw-open-work-frieze-london-2017\">BMW Open Work<\/a>\u00a0by Frieze,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.incurva.org\/\">Curva Blu<\/a>, a residency project in Favignana, Sicily, the Emergent section of\u00a0miart, Milan and will direct the next edition of the\u00a0Termoli Art Prize, Italy.
