The course is aimed at anyone who wishes to gain a deeper understanding of the contemporary art system or is interested in starting a collecting journey.

The meeting on January 26 will cover: analysis of the market and its impact on art throughout history and in contemporary times: primary market and artistic creation, secondary market and related activities. An introduction to the history of collecting.
The seminar is led by Carla Chiarchiaro. Carla, born in Prato in 1983, has lived and worked in Rome since 2010. She earned a Master’s degree in Art History from the University of Florence (2009) and later a Master’s in Contemporary Art Market and Management of Related Businesses from the Universidad Antonio de Nebrija in Madrid (2010). From 2009 to 2010, she worked at Parra & Romero Gallery in Madrid; from 2010 to 2014 at Federica Schiavo Gallery in Rome; and from 2014 to 2017 at Frutta Gallery in Rome. In September 2017, she founded the ADA Gallery in Rome.
