PORTFOLIO REVIEWS are individual appointments with the CASTRO Team to provide advice on presenting your work. These sessions offer the opportunity to review both the structure and content of the artist's portfolio. The portfolio is a formal and effective presentation of your work. As such, it is a fundamental introduction and illustration method for calls for proposals, exhibitions, articles, residencies, and editorial projects. Besides introducing your work to others, the portfolio and the act of pagination are useful tools for the professional to visualize the progression of their practice and build a professional identity. During the appointments, the layout and structure of the portfolio will be examined, and suggestions on how to best organize the information and tips on graphic presentation will be provided. Additionally, useful and relevant sources and references pertaining to the artist's work will be shared. PORTFOLIO REVIEWS are a valuable step in an artist's professional development and help build professional identity. They are specifically designed for university students and those at the beginning of their careers, but are open to anyone who thinks they could benefit from them.

The reviews take place monthly at CASTRO. You can book an appointment by sending an email to info@castroprojects.it. Reservations are open to everyone, and appointments are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

After booking your appointment, we will ask you to send us the latest version of your portfolio in PDF format one week before the meeting. This will give us time to review the portfolio before our meeting.
