The Fideuram Research Fellowship
The Fideuram Research Fellowship is a valuable opportunity for a researcher whose work shows exceptional merit and promise.
The Fellowship is generously supported by Roberto Magalotti and Michele MacrÃ, private bankers at Fideuram.
The Fellow will be invited to conduct research at CASTRO using a variety of archives, libraries and sources as well as to produce a publication. CASTRO offers to fund the number 0 edition of the researcher’s publication and to launch it at CASTRO*.
CASTRO will also facilitate the fellow’s research by helping him/her/their to plan visits to libraries and archives such as: La Quadriennale Archive, La Galleria Nazionale Archive, the MAXXI Archive, the Toti Scialoja Archive, Crispolti Archive, Istituto Luce Archive and many more.
The program also offers to arrange studio visits with Rome-based artists and artists hosted by the numerous foreign academies in the city.
Specific award criteria:
-Applicants should show interest and ability to produce a publication.
-Applicants must be able to show the importance of a publication production for their practice.
-Applicants should be able to demonstrate an intention, upon completion of their Fellowship, to work in Italy or otherwise contribute to the wider Italian artistic community.
-Applicants must be able to show the importance of a Studio Program in Rome for their
practice; and keen to be part of a community of artists and researchers.
Application fee is 15€
