The Nicoletta Fiorucci Russo Fellowship

The Nicoletta Fiorucci Russo Fellowship is a valuable opportunity for an artist who works with unconventional mediums and intends to bring his/her/their practice to Rome.

The Fellowship is generously supported by Nicoletta Fiorucci Russo, Founder of Fiorucci Art Trust. In Nicoletta’s own words “The goal is to offer both the artists and the viewer the opportunity to undertake unknown paths, to connect manifold and unconventional realities”.

CASTRO offers a 25sqm studio space, monthly tutorials and regular interviews with the Team at CASTRO.
During the interviews the Team members will agree on studio visits, workshops with local artisans and guided tour of the city based on the interests and practices of each fellow.

During their stay, the Fellow will have the opportunity to led a talk or lecture at CASTRO to either present their practice or as a tool to further their research.

Specific award criteria:
-Applicants should show significant interest in collaborative studio environments.

-Applicants must be able to show the importance of a Studio Program in Rome for their practice; and keen to be part of a community of artists and researchers.

-Applicants should prove their practice engages in unconventional art mediums.

Application fee is 15€
Please note that the studio is a work place only, not live/work
