llaria Manciais a curator of interdisciplinary projects in visual and performing arts. Her curatorial practice focuses on multidisciplinary and performative artistic research as a catalyst for new dynamics of knowledge, ecological thinking, and production, as well as on perceptual and relational transformations in the experience of art. She has a strong interest in knowledge-sharing practices, both in educational and community contexts. She has collaborated with several institutions, including the Swiss Institute, the Lac o Le Mon Foundation in Lecce, the Palazzo delle Esposizioni, and the Mattatoio in Rome, where from 2019 to 2022 she was a curator and exhibition creator, as well as a program coordinator for performances, educational projects (such as the Master in Performing Arts and workshops), along with residency and production programs. In this context, she curated exhibitions and performance series with artists such as Alessandro Sciarroni, Invernomuto, Michele Rizzo, ZAPRUDER cinemmakersgroup, Jacopo Benassi, Simone Aughterlony, Rä di Martino, MP5 Muna Mussie, Himali Singh Soin, Valentina Furian, Pierre Huyghe, Revital Cohen & Tuur Van Balen, Jenna Sutela, Riccardo Benassi, and Katerina Andreou. At Mattatoio, she developed a network of collaborations with museums and national and international institutions for the realization of new works. She teaches performing arts at NABA - Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome and Milan and has been an advisor for the MFA program at the Transart Institute for Creative Research in Liverpool. She has worked with national and international theater and dance artists and companies, including Motus, Agrupación Señor Serrano, Cristina Kristal Rizzo, Muta Imago, Big Art Group, and OHT-Office for a Human Theatre, conceiving various performative and research formats and promoting their projects internationally and in several performing arts festivals, theaters, and independent spaces in Italy and abroad. Additionally, she collaborates with specialized artistic publications.
