Beatrice Favaretto

Beatrice Favaretto (1992) was born in Venice. In 2013 she graduated in Fine Arts at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice, in 2016 she graduated in New Art Technologies – Cinema and Video Art at the Accademia di Brera in Milan where she started working with several experimental film festivals and realities of the art world. While maintaining a particular focus on video, Beatrice uses different media and languages to create installations that explore ideas of time and memory. Archive materials and video media are analysed by the artist in their components that refer to human affairs such as love, death and sexuality. Recent group exhibitions include: 2019, Indistinct Boundaries, Cinema Giorgione, Venice (VE); 2018, Premio Francesco Fabbri for contemporary art, Villa Brandolini Pieve di Soligo (TV); 2018, Diaspora, Chiesa di San Carlo (RE), Reggio Emilia. He now lives and works in Milan, collaborating with various realities such as MASBEDO and FIlmmaker Festival.
