ANIMATION FOR ADULTS
Animation has been used as a storytelling medium for decades, not only for children but adults as well.
Cinema is a narrative, live action, realistic filter. Animation cinema is a filter too; although it has a different texture, it holds the same function. This seminar will approach animation eluding the most common works for children and rather focusing on the ones that one might not want to show the entire family.
The seminar is led by Flaminia Bonfiglio but active public participation is required. Each meeting is divided into two moments, a first introductory part where Flaminia will present specific contents and suggest material to look at, and a second part open to discussion and debate.
Maximum number of participants: 20 people.
