CASTRO (Contemporary Art STudios ROme) is a projects dedicated to alternative education and production in the field of Contemporary Art. It is a space founded to support Italian and foreign artists, curators and researchersCASTRO moves on three parallel tracks: the Studio Program, the Public Program and the Academia Program.
CASTRO is twinned with other projects in Italy and abroad, offering CASTRO members and former members a point of reference in these cities, opportunities for exchanges with residents there, and a chance for the program to stay closely connected with extraregional and international issues and trends. The project aims to expand this network year by year.
