Jacopo Belloni (Ancona, 1992) lives and works in Geneva. He studied at Academy of Fine arts of Brera (Milan) and University of Milan. He is ending the Work.Master program at HEAD (Geneva). His research inquires narrative, imaginative and symbolic structures that the human being assumes to defend itself and to take care of its peers. Linking studies on popular culture, history of religion and anthropology, he seeks new forms of superstitions and beliefs in contemporary society, finding connections with ancient myths and legends.​

His works and performances have been showed at Sonnenstube (Lugano), Centre d’Art Contemporain (Geneva), Gessnerallee (Zurich), Archivio Conz (Berlin), Arsenic (Lausanne), Théâtre Saint-Gervais (Geneva), Ambika P3 (London), Farmacia Wurmkos (Milan), Marsèlleria (Milan), Localedue (Bologne) Palais de Tokyo (Paris), Galerie Papillon (Paris). He was a resident at Boghossian Foundation(Brussels), Bocs Art (Cosenza), Fixer (Lecce), Dena Foundation (Paris). Since 2018 he is co-founder and co-curator of Terminalia, a tranship non-profit association with social and cultural purposes that operates in marginal and internal areas of the center of Italy.
