The course is aimed at anyone who wishes to gain a deeper understanding of the contemporary art system or is interested in starting a path of collecting.

The meeting on January 26 will cover: analysis of the market and its impact on art throughout history and in contemporary times: primary market and artistic creation, secondary market and related activities. An overview of the history of collecting.
The seminar is led by Carla Chiarchiaro. Carla, born in Prato in 1983, has lived and worked in Rome since 2010. She holds a Master’s degree in Art History from the University of Florence (2009) and a Master’s degree in Contemporary Art Market and Management of Related Enterprises from the Antonio De Nebrija University in Madrid (2010). From 2009 to 2010, she worked at the Parra & Romero gallery in Madrid; from 2010 to 2014, at the Federica Schiavo gallery in Rome, and from 2014 to 2017, at the Frutta gallery in Rome. In September 2017, she founded the ADA gallery in Rome.
